2) Common mistakes in finding resources.
The common mistakes that we do are finding using the same exact words/paragraph.
For example, when we want to find the pollution caused by chicken farming, we try to find the information by searching ‘pollution caused by chicken farming’. Although it is not wrong, however, the information is limited and not varied.
The other mistake that we usually did when we find resources is we are not using any database platform such as ScienceDirect, Scooper, Google Scholar and Springerlink. Although we can find resources on any website, however not all information we got from the website can be use and cite. There will be some missing information about the author that wrote the article or even there is no publishing date stated. This kind of resource is not suitable to be used as a reference
.
3) Common mistakes of paraphrasing and give tips on how to avoid.
Paraphrasing is one of the technique to avoid plagiarism. However, there is some common mistake that we usually do when we try to paraphrase things.
- Leave out information that creates an entirely new meaning to the original source.
- Grammar error
- Changing the words that cause the meaning of the original source to change as well.
- · Write down all the information and to avoid plagiarism, cite the author of the original source.
- · We can use Grammarly to check the sentence structure
- · Use a thesaurus to find suitable words if you want to change the words. Ensure that the meaning is the same and suitable to use.

4) Advice/tips on how to collect good info.
There are few tips/advice on how to collect good info:
- Use database such as ScienceDirect, Springerlink, Scooper and Google Scholar. The article/journals from this database are easier to cite. This is because the article contains the author names, date of publication, title and publisher.
- Use correct key points/keywords.
- Use ‘boolean search’ technique.
I hope that this will be helpful. If there is any query, you can just comment below and I will try my best to answer the question. Any comment or useful info regarding this topic is mostly welcomed. Thank You :D
